I wrote this tiny test because my Lenovo Yoga is driving me slightly mad with input lag, and I wanted to have a way to test it easily. My hunch proved correct: with the "fastest" Windows keyboard settings, the Yoga does first-key repeat at 350ms (instead of 250ms you'd expect), and then only manages a 22-23hz repeat rate, instead of 30. (It's slightly more normal when it's running on battery actually, but wow.)
If your computer is set to the fastest setting (below), you should get 250ms (first key delay) and 30hz (repeat rate). This is exactly what my Windows 7 Thinkpad does. If you've adjusted these things to the fastest level and are getting something else, please leave a comment.
